Child Rights Programming Approach (CRP) has been the core value and operational approach for Save the Children Sweden Denmark. The principles of CRP- child participation, non-discrimination, accountability, best interest of the child and survival and development has been planned to be universally and indivisibly applied in all Save the Children Sweden Denmark programmes for assessing, designing, planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and evaluating programmes and projects. The CRP unit works with an objective to create an environment where all girls and boys, regardless of their social, economic, cultural, and other forms of diversities are enabled and empowered to claim their rights with proactive support of all relevant duty bearers. Save the Children Sweden Denmark with alliance members and partners have promoted the values of child rights programming in their own programme and in the society at large. It has built strategic partnership with increased number of like minded organisations, HR organisations and academia who are applying CRP in their organisation and programmes.
Also Save the Children Sweden Denmark plans to build strategic partnership with the wider civil society organisation, people’s organisation, political leaders and peoples’ representatives and corporate sectors to ensure governments and other CRP in their organisation and programmes.
