Save the Children Sweden Denmark and its partners follow a combination of strategies to develop an enabling environment within the school and community which supports children’s rights to education, participation and protection. Save the Children strives to increase access to the development of quality education and effective learning opportunities for children who are having their right to education violated by being excluded from the formal education system. Therefore, the current focus areas of education unit are as follows:

• Education that is relevant to children’s life experience and challenges
• National education systems
• Proactive in denial of rights and resource allocation
