The situation of Children with Disabilities (CWDs) in Bangladesh is comparatively far below the average of any section of children. In Bangladesh CWDs are excluded from most of the government and non-government programmes. Disabled children are in vulnerable position in all aspects due to lack of protective and enabling environment for them. Save the Children Sweden Denmark believes that all children have equal right to enjoy all kind of rights and therefore, it works on the issue of non-discrimination of disabled child. The theme works with an objective to see children living in an inclusive and protective environment with equal rights when the legal and social framework are favourable for disabled children and their vulnerability and risk of violence has been reduced.
